Chris Collins returns as Papa John’s interim finance chief

Collins maintains his existing responsibilities as senior vice president of corporate finance and principal accounting officer while managing the company's financial transition. Thanawala will remain in an advisory capacity until July 31 to ensure continuity during the search for a permanent successor. Before joining the pizza chain, Collins held financial positions at Goodyear Tire & Rubber, Signet Jewelers, and American Axle & Manufacturing.

Simultaneously, the company is reshuffling its leadership structure. Senior Vice President of North America Operations Marc Richard has expanded his remit to oversee all North American operations, absorbing the duties previously managed by Thanawala in his capacity as president.
