Inogen Taps Industry Veteran Reding as First COO

Inogen is expanding its executive suite with the appointment of Andy Reding to the newly established role of chief operating officer. The veteran medical technology strategist, whose tenure begins July 6, arrives at the company tasked with overseeing core operations as the manufacturer looks to sharpen its commercial focus.

Reding transitions to Inogen following a stint as chief commercial officer at Viant Medical. His background includes a significant leadership role as vice president and general manager of Hillrom Respiratory Health, providing him with direct experience in the sector.

The compensation package for the new role includes an annual base salary of $500,000, bolstered by a $100,000 sign-on bonus. Additionally, Reding will receive an equity award of 130,000 shares, structured to vest over a three-year period, alongside standard company benefits.
