Bike O Net Profit Surges Despite Operating Margin Dip

Bike O & Co. Ltd. reported a sharp increase in net profit to 339 million yen for the half-year ending May 31, nearly doubling the 185 million yen recorded during the same period last year, even as the company grappled with a decline in operating profitability.

Revenue for the Japanese firm climbed to 19.60 billion yen from 18.67 billion yen, signaling steady growth in top-line performance. However, operating profit contracted to 262 million yen, down from 320 million yen a year prior. Pretax profit remained largely stable at 433 million yen compared to 431 million yen in 2025. Earnings per share rose to 23.77 yen, up from 13.20 yen, according to the company’s Japanese accounting standards report.
