The project centers on the Goodness Grown agricultural site, where Anaergia Australia will deploy its proprietary PSM Mixers and Service Box Pro technology. The facility is engineered to process up to 120,000 metric tons of mixed feedstock annually, generating approximately one hundred terajoules of gross biogas energy. Beyond electricity, the system will capture heat and carbon dioxide to support the energy needs of adjacent glasshouse operations.
Backed by funding from the Australian Renewable Energy Agency under its National Industrial Transformation program, the plant is slated to become operational within two years. This transition aims to displace a significant portion of the greenhouse's liquid petroleum gas consumption, leveraging biological decomposition to turn organic waste into a sustainable power source.
