Operational efficiency also showed signs of improvement, with operating profit climbing to 20.02 billion yen compared to 16.16 billion yen in the prior fiscal cycle. Pretax profit followed a similar upward trajectory, rising to 21.52 billion yen from 17.45 billion yen.
Despite these gains in core business activity, the company's bottom line suffered. Earnings per share dropped to 95.95 yen from 135.27 yen. These results were calculated in accordance with Japanese accounting standards.
