Hyperliquid Enters Bitwise 10 Index as DOT and AVAX Exit

The Bitwise 10 Crypto Index ETF, which tracks the largest screened digital assets by market value, confirmed the addition of HYPE during its latest monthly reconstitution. Data from July 7 shows the token currently occupies roughly 0.95% of the fund’s weight. Alongside Hyperliquid, Stellar (XLM) also secured a place in the basket, while Polkadot (DOT) and Avalanche (AVAX) were removed to maintain the index’s strict liquidity and market cap requirements.

Hyperliquid’s rapid ascent is backed by significant platform activity, with reported trading volume hitting $1.34 trillion and revenue reaching $320 million during the first half of 2026. This performance paved the way for its integration into the BITW fund, providing traditional finance investors with exposure to the project through a familiar index wrapper. While HYPE’s current weight remains small compared to market leaders like Bitcoin and Ethereum, the entry marks a milestone in its institutional visibility. As BITW rebalances monthly based on performance and screening metrics, the composition remains dynamic, leaving the door open for further adjustments should market standings shift.
