The company’s revenue slipped to 279.9 million Canadian dollars, falling short of the 292.5 million Canadian dollars anticipated by analysts. Adjusted earnings reached 0.97 Canadian dollars per share, missing the 1.12 Canadian dollars forecast by FactSet. Operational metrics reflected this broader downturn, as same-store sales dropped 2.1% and total system sales contracted to 1.41 billion Canadian dollars.

Chief Executive Eric Lefebvre pointed to persistent pressure on consumer spending as the primary driver behind the disappointing results. Despite the current headwinds, the franchiser maintains a footprint of 7,040 active locations, with the vast majority—6,808 sites—operating under franchise or operator agreements.
