Despite this top-line growth, the company struggled to convert sales into earnings, with operating profit falling to 648 million yen against the previous 806 million yen. Pretax profit followed a similar downward trajectory, settling at 461 million yen compared to 670 million yen in 2025. Consequently, earnings per share declined to 3.63 yen from 5.23 yen. These results were prepared in accordance with IFRS accounting standards.

A sharp contraction in profitability defined the first half of the fiscal year for S-Pool Inc., as the Tokyo-based staffing and logistics firm reported net profit of 283 million yen for the period ending May 31, a significant drop from the 410 million yen recorded during the same interval last year.
