Lucid Group pushed back against market speculation Tuesday, asserting that its current liquidity remains sufficient to fund operations well into 2027. The electric vehicle maker explicitly denied the existence of any special board committee tasked with exploring restructuring scenarios, aiming to calm investor fears despite a volatile trading session.

Despite the firm rebuttal, investor sentiment remained sour. Lucid shares fell 14% to $4.72 midday Tuesday, following a dip to a 52-week low of $2.37. The stock has now shed roughly 55% of its value since the start of the year.
