Architects Studio Japan Posts 179 Million Yen First-Quarter Loss

The Tokyo-based firm saw its quarterly revenue drop significantly to 80 million yen, down from 218 million yen in 2025. Despite the top-line contraction, the company managed a slight improvement in its operating performance, reporting an operating loss of 179 million yen against the previous year's 200 million yen loss. Pretax figures followed a similar trajectory, narrowing to 178 million yen compared to the 208 million yen deficit recorded in the prior year. Under Japanese accounting standards, the company’s earnings per share fell to a loss of 1.57 yen, deepening from the 1.21 yen loss per share seen in the first quarter of 2025.
