Veradermics Stock Jumps on Successful Hair-Loss Drug Trial

The Phase 2 trial met its primary efficacy goals, showing significant hair density gains in women with mild-to-moderate hair loss. Patients receiving the drug once or twice daily experienced average increases of 22.7 and 23.3 non-vellus hairs per square centimeter, respectively, over a six-month period. Patient-reported outcomes were equally strong, with 90% of those in the twice-daily group noting improvements in coverage by the end of the study.

Safety data offered further encouragement for the program. Investigators noted visible improvements as early as two months into the trial, with no serious treatment-related adverse events or cardiac concerns reported. Veradermics plans to release topline findings from its registration-directed Phase 2/3 trial during the first half of 2027.
