The company is already contending with similar lawsuits filed last October by energy majors BP and ExxonMobil, alongside a separate 1.6 billion euro claim from LyondellBasell.

Clariant remains steadfast in its position, confirming that it will vigorously defend its procurement actions throughout the upcoming proceedings. Dow has not yet provided a response to inquiries regarding the filing.
