By integrating underbody warming directly into an anti-slip securement pad, the system aims to streamline the setup process for clinical staff operating in high-precision environments.

Gentherm plans to initiate product trials at select healthcare facilities this August. The company anticipates the device will begin contributing to its revenue streams by the third quarter, marking a strategic expansion of its thermal-management expertise into the specialized field of robotic surgery.
