The program, reportedly dubbed Apple Upgrade, is slated for a July 28 launch. According to sources familiar with the internal plans, the service will cover a wide range of hardware, including iPhones, Macs, iPads, and Apple Watches. Customers will gain the flexibility to pay off devices early, swap hardware for newer models mid-term, or simply return their units once the leasing period concludes.
Neither company has officially confirmed the arrangement. An Apple spokesperson declined to comment on the development, and representatives for Klarna did not immediately respond to inquiries. Despite the lack of an official announcement, the market reacted favorably to the prospect of Klarna securing a foothold within Apple's massive consumer electronics ecosystem.
