This secondary payment structure carries a floor of $45 million and a maximum cap of $100 million. By integrating Copra, Vita Coco gains access to specialized sourcing expertise and a super-premium product line that complements its existing portfolio.
Michael Kirban, co-founder of Vita Coco, noted that the acquisition allows the firm to reach new consumer demographics and bolster its overall market share. Copra Chief Executive Ben Minges highlighted that the strong momentum behind the Thai Nam Hom variety positions the brand for accelerated growth under Vita Coco’s broader distribution infrastructure.
