The London-listed firm executed the repayment at an average price of $65,762 per coin, effectively closing out a financing structure that had served its purpose during the company's early treasury accumulation phase. Chief executive Andrew Webley noted that while the convertible instrument provided vital flexibility during the inception of their "10 Year Plan," the company has outgrown the need for such debt-based funding mechanisms.
Despite parting with the 177.89 BTC, the company reports a remaining treasury of 2,700 Bitcoin. This figure underscores a steady accumulation trajectory that persisted even after the firm reached 2,650 BTC in October 2025. By retiring the instrument early, management has simplified the corporate capital structure, removing the looming issuance of over 7.7 million ordinary shares and signaling a shift toward more permanent funding strategies for its ongoing Bitcoin-heavy treasury policy.
