The partnership grants USA Rare Earth immediate access to Carester’s specialized engineering expertise and intellectual property regarding mineral separation and recycling. In return, the French firm gains a stable supply chain connection to USA Rare Earth’s primary feedstock sources, specifically the Round Top deposit in Texas and the Serra Verde project. These capital injections are earmarked to accelerate the growth phase of Caremag, a facility currently under construction that focuses on magnet recycling and heavy rare earth processing.
Commissioning for the Caremag site is slated for later this year. This move functions as a cornerstone for a broader industrial platform intended to integrate the full rare earth lifecycle—from raw extraction to final magnet manufacturing—across both sides of the Atlantic.
