Net income surged to $4.4 million, or 14 cents per share, marking a significant climb from the $477,000 recorded in the same period last year. Adjusted earnings hit 75 cents per share, comfortably clearing the 56-cent consensus among FactSet analysts. Revenue similarly outperformed expectations, climbing 11% to $416.2 million against a projected $382.9 million.
Chief Executive Bill Presley attributed the momentum to accelerating growth across medical, home, and office markets, noting that new standardization measures are driving operational gains. Bolstering investor confidence, the board authorized a new $400 million stock repurchase program. This initiative will replace the existing plan on July 27, succeeding the previous authorization which held approximately $110 million in remaining capacity as of June 30.
