Sakurajima Futo Kaisha Net Profit Edges Up Despite Revenue Dip

The Japanese firm reported revenue of 988 million yen for the quarter, falling short of the 1.04 billion yen generated in the previous year. Operating profit faced a more pronounced decline, dropping to 51 million yen from 92 million yen. Despite these pressures, pretax profit remained relatively stable at 153 million yen, compared with 157 million yen a year earlier. Earnings per share rose to 69.29 yen from 67.92 yen. These figures were prepared in accordance with Japanese accounting standards.
