Nihon Dengi Co. Ltd. reported a significant jump in profitability for the first quarter ending June 30, with net profit climbing to 1.30 billion yen compared to 931 million yen during the same period last year, according to financial results released under Japanese accounting standards.

The company’s revenue also saw steady growth, reaching 8.70 billion yen against 8.42 billion yen a year earlier. Operating profit saw a notable increase, rising to 1.76 billion yen from 1.26 billion yen. Pretax profit followed a similar trajectory, climbing to 1.91 billion yen from 1.35 billion yen.

Shareholders saw a direct impact from these performance gains, as earnings per share rose to 20.37 yen from 14.62 yen in the previous fiscal year's opening quarter.
