Chief Executive Officer John Baylouny noted that the integration of Raft is intended to accelerate the company’s internal investments in mission-critical technology. According to the firm, the deal is expected to be accretive to adjusted earnings per share within the first full year of ownership.

Beyond the operational shift, Leonardo DRS projects a tax benefit valued at approximately $50 million over the next 15 years stemming from the transaction. The acquisition is slated to close in the fourth quarter of this year.
