FinecoBank Net Sales Surge 35% as AI Strategy Takes Hold

A 35% jump in net sales to €8.9 billion during the first half of 2026 has provided FinecoBank with a significant tailwind. The Italian digital lender added over 125,000 new customers in the period, signaling that its aggressive pivot toward artificial intelligence and targeted client acquisition is delivering tangible financial results.

FinecoBank Net Sales Surge 35% as AI Strategy Takes Hold

CEO Alessandro Foti confirmed that the bank’s shift in strategy is yielding clear evidence of success, particularly as the institution redesigns its digital backbone. This momentum contributed to a 7% increase in net profit, which reached €340.4 million for the half-year. While FinecoBank refrains from issuing specific numeric profit guidance, leadership expects all business segments to drive revenue growth through the remainder of the year.

Central to this outlook is the bank’s stability, as Foti noted that Fineco maintains the highest percentage of stable deposits among European peers. This position allows the firm to capitalize on rising interest rates more effectively than competitors. To sustain the current trajectory, the bank is increasing its annual marketing spend by €5 million. These efforts remain focused on capturing market share from traditional, less efficient banking institutions, particularly in Germany, by leveraging proprietary AI tools to streamline operations and enhance customer onboarding.
