Ernest Haynes, currently serving as president of Global Consumer Packaging, will oversee the consolidated unit. The move marks a departure from the company's previous regional management approach, designed to foster deeper collaboration across its international teams. Haynes noted that the simplified model is intended to accelerate innovation and improve operational efficiency across the firm’s diverse packaging portfolio.
Alongside the announcement, the company confirmed the departure of Sean Cairns, who led operations across Europe, the Middle East, Africa, and the Asia-Pacific region. Cairns exits the firm following a 17-year tenure. Meanwhile, James Harrell remains in his position as president of the industrial paper packaging segment, which continues to operate outside this specific consolidation effort.
