H100 Taps Veteran Peter Warren to Manage Expanded Bitcoin Treasury

With a massive 2,455-Bitcoin acquisition finalized, the Swedish firm H100 Group has appointed market veteran Peter C. Warren as chief investment officer. The move integrates Warren’s existing derivative strategies into the corporate treasury, now totaling 3,506.4 Bitcoin, as the company shifts toward a more active risk-management approach.

Warren, who brings over 45 years of capital markets experience, previously managed roughly 2,450 Bitcoin alongside H100 CEO Eirik Grøttum through Moonshot and PDI AS. These entities were folded into H100 on August 10 through the acquisition of Norwegian firm NSD AS. The deal, completed without cash by issuing 790.5 million new shares, effectively tripled the group’s holdings. Shareholders are now set to vote on August 28 to formally add Warren and three other candidates to the company’s expanded board.

The newly appointed CIO is tasked with deploying derivatives to generate cash flow and provide downside protection while maintaining long-term exposure to Bitcoin. While H100 has not disclosed specific target yields or risk limits for this strategy, the appointment signals an aggressive pivot toward active treasury management. H100 shares have already reacted to the consolidation, climbing over 23% across two sessions following the initial acquisition news. Warren’s future influence over the company remains subject to the upcoming general meeting, where his board seat and broader governance role will be put to a shareholder vote.
