Greenlane Treasury Shrinks as BERA Holdings Lose $53 Million in Value

Greenlane Holdings’ digital asset treasury has plummeted to a fair value of $16.4 million by the end of the second quarter, marking a 76.6% decline from its $70 million cost basis. The Nasdaq-listed company continues to lean heavily into its Berachain strategy despite a sharp, ongoing downturn in the token’s market price.

Greenlane Treasury Shrinks as BERA Holdings Lose $53 Million in Value

The company’s latest regulatory filing reveals that its holdings of BERA and equivalent tokens actually grew to 81.3 million as of June 30, up from 77.7 million at the end of March. This accumulation occurred even as the asset’s price faced sustained pressure, trading near $0.146. The widening gap between acquisition costs and current fair value resulted in a $19.1 million noncash loss for the second quarter, contributing to a total net loss of $24.8 million for the period.

While the treasury’s valuation remains depressed, Greenlane is attempting to offset losses through active participation in the Berachain ecosystem. Its digital asset operations generated approximately $309,000 in staking and yield revenue during the quarter. The firm, which pivoted from a cannabis accessories business in late 2025 following a $110.7 million private placement, remains tethered to the volatility of the Proof-of-Liquidity network. Management maintains that the company’s financial health is now significantly influenced by digital asset market conditions, particularly the performance of its BERA position.
