Postquant Labs Unveils Bridgeless Swap Protocol QuipSwap

Postquant Labs is launching QuipSwap, a protocol designed to execute cross-chain asset swaps without traditional bridges, oracles, or wrapped assets. By utilizing a peer-to-peer mechanism, the platform aims to eliminate common security vulnerabilities while preparing blockchain infrastructure for the future threat of quantum computing.

Postquant Labs Unveils Bridgeless Swap Protocol QuipSwap

Traditional cross-chain solutions rely on centralized intermediaries or smart contract bridges, which have historically served as primary targets for multi-billion dollar exploits. QuipSwap shifts this paradigm by enabling two parties to exchange wallet access across chains in a synchronized, trustless transaction. CEO and co-founder Colton Dillion explained that once a party claims their side of a trade, the counterparty immediately receives their claim key, preventing reversals and ensuring a true peer-to-peer experience.

The development arrives as quantum computing advances, threatening the cryptographic foundations of existing blockchain networks. According to CTO and co-founder Dr. Richard Carback, current distributed networks are insufficient because they lack inherent quantum resistance. To address this, the team developed its own infrastructure, which was recently validated through a successful demonstration at ETHDenver and a formal security audit by Oak Security.

Beyond the swap protocol, the team has deployed quantum-resistant wallets for Bitcoin, Ethereum, and Solana, currently in beta testing. All research supporting the quip.network remains open-source, reflecting the company's objective to establish a new global standard for industry-wide quantum security.
