Circle to feature on Chelsea kits in 2026/27 sponsorship deal

Chelsea Football Club has confirmed a principal partnership with Circle Internet Group, placing the USDC stablecoin brand on the front of men’s, women’s, and academy shirts starting with the 2026/27 season. The branding will make its Premier League debut during the men’s home match against Brighton this Sunday.

The agreement marks a significant shift for Circle, moving its digital dollar brand from institutional financial infrastructure into a high-profile consumer-facing role. Under the terms of the deal, the USDC logo will be worn across all primary club kits. Chelsea President Jason Gannon described the collaboration as an extension of the club's ongoing commitment to digital innovation, stating that both organizations are focused on long-term global growth.

Circle CEO Jeremy Allaire noted that the partnership aligns with the company’s vision of money moving globally with the efficiency of internet information. This move continues Chelsea’s recent history of integrating digital asset companies into its commercial portfolio, following previous associations with crypto exchange BingX. For Circle, the sponsorship follows a year of aggressive expansion, including a new three-year agreement with Coinbase and the acquisition of a New York trust charter, as the company seeks to cement USDC's role in international payments.
