Strive Bitcoin Buying Power Surges as SATA Reclaims Par Value

Strive’s Variable Rate Series A Perpetual Preferred Stock has generated enough estimated capital to purchase 1,192 Bitcoin this week, according to market monitoring. The uptick follows the security’s return to its $100 stated value, a milestone that allows the company to resume issuing new shares to fund its aggressive treasury strategy.

Strive Bitcoin Buying Power Surges as SATA Reclaims Par Value

The estimate, provided by BitcoinTreasuries.NET, reflects potential purchasing capacity rather than confirmed acquisitions. By tracking trading volume of the security—ticker SATA—at or above its $100 par, the model projects how much capital Strive may deploy through its at-the-market offering program. As of Friday, the company had not filed an 8-K disclosure confirming specific Bitcoin purchases for the week of Aug. 24.

Strive maintains a strict policy against issuing SATA shares below $100 to avoid diluting existing holders. During a June market downturn, the stock dipped to $79.01, effectively freezing the company’s preferred-stock funding channel for several weeks. The recent recovery to $100.01 has reopened this pipeline, with the tracker estimating that the program generated capacity for 440 BTC in just two days following the rebound.

As of Aug. 21, Strive held 21,356 BTC, ranking it among the largest corporate holders of the digital asset. While the company’s recent filings highlight a rapid accumulation strategy—growing its holdings by 184% since November 2025—the capital used for these purchases often stems from a combination of SATA issuance, common stock sales, and existing cash reserves. With Bitcoin prices fluctuating between $78,000 and $80,000 this week, the estimated 1,192 BTC purchasing capacity represents roughly $93 million to $95 million in capital.
