The company, backed by Power Sustainable—a subsidiary of Power Corp. of Canada—will oversee the installation of roughly 1.5 million ultrasonic water meters. Beyond the physical hardware, the scope of work includes the deployment of advanced metering infrastructure endpoints designed to transmit real-time data directly to the Puerto Rico Aqueduct and Sewer Authority.
This shift toward digital monitoring replaces manual processes, allowing the authority to track consumption patterns with significantly higher accuracy. For Power Sustainable, the contract marks a major milestone for its portfolio company since the firm finalized its investment in Envocore earlier this January.
