Toro Raises Annual Forecast After Strong Third Quarter Performance

The company reported a profit of $77 million, or 81 cents per share, for the third quarter, marking a significant increase from the $53.5 million, or 54 cents per share, recorded during the same period last year. When adjusted for one-time items, earnings reached $1.33 per share, edging past the $1.31 estimate anticipated by Wall Street. Revenue also outperformed expectations, climbing to $1.23 billion compared to $1.13 billion in the previous year.

Following these results, Toro adjusted its full-year sales growth projection to a range of 6.3% to 6.6%. The company also raised its adjusted earnings guidance to between $4.60 and $4.65 per share. These figures place the firm in a strong position relative to the $4.61 per share earnings and $4.76 billion in total sales currently expected by FactSet analysts.
