Sinanyan, 44, previously led the company’s financial operations from 2015 to 2021 before stepping away. He returned to the firm this past July as senior vice president of finance. Thompson will remain on board as a consultant through February 2027 to ensure continuity during the handover period, concluding his employment at the end of October.
Alongside the personnel change, MediaAlpha provided a positive update on its financial trajectory. The company projects that third-quarter revenue and adjusted Ebitda will meet or exceed the upper end of its earlier guidance. The firm previously estimated revenue between $330 million and $355 million, with adjusted Ebitda ranging from $32 million to $35 million.
