Ambarella Narrows Losses on Edge AI Growth

Revenue climbed 13% to $108.1 million, narrowly beating the $107.8 million forecast by analysts. This shift marks a significant improvement from the same period last year, when the company posted a $20 million loss. The company’s edge AI business reached record levels, providing the primary momentum behind these results.

Looking ahead, the company projects third-quarter revenue between $115 million and $124 million. While the midpoint of this guidance aligns with market expectations, the broader performance signals a stabilization for the processor maker as it pivots deeper into specialized artificial intelligence hardware.
