Pendle Launches Yield-Trading Market on Robinhood Chain

Yield-trading protocol Pendle has officially entered the Robinhood Chain ecosystem, marking its expansion with the launch of an sNET market. This integration allows users to split their holdings into principal and yield components, providing a new layer of decentralized finance functionality on the recently launched Ethereum Layer 2 network.

The deployment centers on sNET, the staked version of the reserve-backed NET token issued by NetNet Capital. By utilizing Pendle’s standardized yield format, traders can now separate the asset’s principal from its future earnings until the market’s maturity date on September 17, 2026. This structure enables participants to speculate on interest rate fluctuations or lock in fixed returns through the purchase of principal tokens.

Robinhood Chain, which debuted on July 1 using Arbitrum technology, has seen a rapid increase in activity, with cumulative decentralized exchange volume surpassing $47 billion in under two months. While the network remains permissionless, Pendle’s arrival adds sophisticated yield management to a chain already supported by infrastructure partners like Uniswap and Chainlink. As of early September, Pendle held approximately $1.23 billion in total value locked across its various supported networks, including Ethereum, Arbitrum, and Base.
