A $300 million capital injection has propelled San Francisco-based Gimlet Labs to a $3 billion valuation, marking a rapid ascent just five months after the company closed its initial funding round. Gimlet Labs Hits $3 Billion Valuation in $300 Million Series B

The Series B round was led by Andreessen Horowitz, with participation from Sapphire Ventures, M12, and Arm. Existing backers Menlo Ventures and Factory also contributed to the raise, signaling continued confidence in the firm’s proprietary technology. This financial milestone follows a period of aggressive growth for the company, which reported tripling its customer base since March.

At the core of the business is a new cloud platform designed to optimize AI inference. By dynamically matching specific workloads to the most efficient silicon, Gimlet Labs aims to reduce the overhead typically associated with deploying trained AI models. The architecture is currently available either through the company’s managed cloud or as a service deployed directly within client environments. Among its recent client wins, the firm counts one of the world’s three largest hyperscalers and a leading frontier AI laboratory.
