Capital B has expanded its strategic Bitcoin treasury to 3,521 coins, following a €25.3 million acquisition of 376 BTC. The purchase, executed at an average price of €67,182 per coin, was financed through a series of capital raises totaling €30.1 million involving major institutional backers.

The French-listed firm finalized the acquisition using proceeds from private placements and an agreement with asset manager TOBAM. Swissquote Bank Europe handled the purchase, while Taurus provided the digital infrastructure for custody. This latest transaction marks the company's largest single Bitcoin buy since June 2025, bringing the total cost basis for its holdings to €309.4 million, or approximately €87,878 per Bitcoin.

Institutional investors played a central role in the funding, with Adam Back and TOBAM participating in two placements that generated €28.7 million in gross proceeds. Back now holds a 17.64% stake in the company’s ordinary capital. Beyond its strategic reserve, Capital B maintains a separate, smaller cache of 61 BTC for operational requirements, which is excluded from its treasury performance reporting.

Alongside the expansion, the company reported a year-to-date BTC Yield of 2.17%, a metric it uses to track the ratio of Bitcoin holdings against fully diluted shares. These financial adjustments arrive on the eve of a 10-for-1 reverse stock split scheduled for September 8, which will trigger corresponding recalibrations for the firm's outstanding warrants and convertible bonds.
