Kin-Ei Corp Profit Slips as Half-Year Revenue Dips

82 million yen in net profit for the half-year ended July 31 marks a significant retreat for Kin-Ei Corp, dropping from 128 million yen reported during the same period last year. The decline reflects broader pressure on the company’s bottom line as operating profits fell alongside top-line revenue figures.

Kin-Ei Corp Profit Slips as Half-Year Revenue Dips

Revenue for the period settled at 1.81 billion yen, trailing the 1.88 billion yen recorded in 2025. This contraction flowed through to operating profit, which slid to 124 million yen from 178 million yen, while pretax profit narrowed to 132 million yen compared to 181 million yen a year prior. Consequently, earnings per share retreated to 29.74 yen from 46.20 yen.

Despite the weaker performance, the company maintained its dividend outlook. Shareholders can expect a year-end dividend of 10 yen per share, consistent with the previous year's annual payout. These figures, prepared under Japanese accounting standards, suggest a cautious path forward as the firm navigates a tighter margin environment.
