Asukanet First Quarter Losses Deepen to 46 Million Yen

Revenue figures showed a modest increase, reaching 1.73 billion yen against 1.65 billion yen in 2025. Despite this growth in top-line performance, bottom-line results deteriorated sharply. Operating losses widened to 65 million yen from 17 million yen, while pretax profits plummeted to a 62 million yen loss from a 1 million yen loss in the previous year.

Shareholders face an earnings per share loss of 3.09 yen, a substantial decline from the 0.43 yen loss reported in the first quarter of 2025. These figures underscore the mounting pressure on the company's profitability despite the slight uptick in overall revenue generation.
