The acquisition is set to bolster Addus HomeCare’s annual revenue by roughly $280 million, marking a 19% increase to its existing revenue base. Beyond strengthening its position in core territories, the move introduces the provider into six new states: Colorado, Georgia, Minnesota, Pennsylvania, Tennessee, and Washington.
Chief Executive Dirk Allison stated that the transaction aligns with the company’s broader strategy to leverage its expertise in personal care to build scale in existing regions while entering select new ones. Addus plans to finance the purchase using a combination of cash on hand and its revolving credit facility. The transaction remains subject to customary closing conditions and required regulatory approvals.
