Ripple Secures Multi-Year Branding Deal with Louisville Athletics

The XRP logo will debut on Denny Crum Court during the 2026–27 basketball season, marking a significant expansion for Ripple into U.S. college sports. The multi-year partnership with the University of Louisville places the digital-asset brand across both men’s and women’s programs, covering arena signage and digital media inventory.

Under the agreement, Ripple’s branding will appear on the court and throughout the KFC Yum! Center, complementing the university’s existing tribute to legendary coach Denny Crum. While the financial terms remain undisclosed, the deal was orchestrated through Learfield, the media company managing commercial rights for the university. Josh Heird, Louisville’s vice president of athletics, stated that the partnership was designed to increase national exposure while maintaining the integrity of the arena’s historical design.

Beyond traditional advertising, the collaboration includes a commitment to financial and technology education for student-athletes and the campus community. These sessions aim to address both traditional finance and digital assets, though the university has not yet released a formal curriculum or schedule. The partnership focuses exclusively on brand visibility and educational outreach rather than facilitating crypto payments or token distribution among the student body. This move mirrors Ripple’s recent push into collegiate athletics, following a similar sponsorship deal finalized with the University of Florida earlier this month.
