Gias Foods Recalls Bettergoods Fettuccine Over Listeria Concerns

While the recall covers thousands of units, health officials confirm that no consumers have reported illnesses linked to the product as of this morning.

Gias Foods Recalls Bettergoods Fettuccine Over Listeria Concerns

The New York-based manufacturer, Gias Foods, initiated the recall for the Authentic Italian Lemon Alfredo Fettuccine, identified by UPC number 194346442706. The affected items are limited to lot numbers L6079C and L6080C.

Testing conducted by the Washington State Department of Agriculture and the Florida Department of Agriculture and Consumer Services triggered the move. While these routine samples indicated the possible presence of the bacteria, Gias Foods is currently working alongside the Food and Drug Administration to determine the source of the contamination. Consumers who purchased the item are advised to return it to their local Walmart for a full refund.
