Air Products Invests $250 Million in Arizona Chip Infrastructure

The agreement tasks Air Products with constructing, owning, and operating a specialized infrastructure suite at an unidentified customer's Arizona site. The project scope includes the installation of hydrogen generation units, carbon dioxide purification systems, and integrated bulk gas delivery networks. These utilities serve as the foundation for the manufacturer's complex fabrication and advanced packaging operations.

This contract follows a similar recent win, pushing Air Products’ total capital investment in domestic semiconductor supply projects to more than $900 million. By embedding its infrastructure directly into the client’s production cycle, the company is positioning itself as a critical link in the domestic chip supply chain, prioritizing long-term service agreements to capitalize on the ongoing surge in U.S. manufacturing capacity.
