Toro Expands Energy Fleet with $83.4 Million Tanker Acquisition

The company completed its first purchase in mid-September, taking delivery of the M/T Wonder Alasia. This 2018 Japanese-built vessel represents the larger share of the investment, commanding a price of $45.9 million.

To complement this addition, Toro acquired a 2014 Korean-built tanker for $37.5 million. Currently slated for a rebranding as the M/T Wonder Atria, this vessel features integrated scrubber technology to meet modern environmental standards. Both ships were sourced from unaffiliated third parties, marking a targeted expansion of Toro’s operational assets.
