Binance Lists Hyperliquid as Protocol Revenue Surges

Binance will open spot trading for Hyperliquid (HYPE) on September 24 at 11:00 UTC, initiating markets against USDT, USDC, and TRY. The listing arrives as the protocol commands a market capitalization near $21 billion, solidifying its position as a dominant force in decentralized perpetual exchange volume.

Binance Lists Hyperliquid as Protocol Revenue Surges

Trading for the new pairs begins at 11:00 UTC, with withdrawal functionality scheduled to follow 24 hours later. While Binance has waived listing fees, the asset carries the exchange's Seed Tag, a designation reserved for projects exhibiting higher price volatility. Traders accessing these assets must complete risk assessment quizzes every 90 days to maintain eligibility. Access to the HYPE/TRY pair remains restricted to users with verified Binance TR accounts, and the asset remains unavailable to residents in several jurisdictions, including the United States, Canada, and the Netherlands.

Hyperliquid enters the platform amid a period of significant growth. According to CoinGecko data, the protocol generated $429.04 million in revenue through September 15, leading the sector’s adjusted rankings. DeFiLlama metrics further underscore this activity, placing Hyperliquid at the top of perpetual decentralized exchanges with roughly $7.42 billion in 24-hour normalized trading volume. As the protocol expands its centralized footprint, it continues to incentivize ecosystem participation through staking models that offer tiered fee discounts, with a portion of platform trading fees directed toward token burns to manage supply.
