The Japanese security provider saw its operating profit nudge upward to 2.79 billion yen, compared to 2.53 billion yen in the prior year, according to financial results filed under Japanese accounting standards. Pretax profit also showed resilience, rising to 2.87 billion yen from 2.63 billion yen. Despite these gains in core operations and pretax earnings, the sharp contraction in net profit resulted in earnings per share falling to 70.44 yen, down significantly from the 117.41 yen reported for the first half of 2025.

A sharp decline in net profit marked the first half of the fiscal year for Central Security Patrols, as the firm’s bottom line dropped to 986 million yen from 1.7 billion yen during the same period last year, even as total revenue climbed to 40.59 billion yen by the end of August.
