Aritzia Stock Jumps 18% on Revenue Growth and Raised Outlook

Investors pushed Aritzia shares up 18% to 143.84 Canadian dollars Friday after the retailer’s second-quarter results dismantled fears of a sales slowdown. The company not only beat analyst expectations but signaled sustained momentum by lifting its full-year revenue guidance, fueled largely by a 60% surge in U.S. market activity.

Aritzia Stock Jumps 18% on Revenue Growth and Raised Outlook

Net revenue climbed 44% to C$1.17 billion for the quarter ended Aug. 30, comfortably exceeding the C$1.12 billion forecast by analysts. This performance was anchored by a 35% growth in comparable sales, a key metric tracking established store locations. While net income reached C$201.7 million—bolstered by a C$97.4 million tariff refund—adjusted earnings of C$1.31 a share still outperformed the anticipated C$1.05.

Management responded to the robust figures by raising its fiscal 2027 revenue target to a range of C$4.78 billion to C$4.88 billion, marking a significant increase from previous projections of C$4.55 billion to C$4.75 billion. Looking ahead to the third quarter, the company anticipates revenue between C$1.275 billion and C$1.325 billion, suggesting a growth trajectory of up to 27% year-over-year. With these gains, Aritzia shares have climbed 81% over the last 52 weeks.
