Operating profit for the six-month window fell to 1.19 billion yen from 1.40 billion yen a year earlier, highlighting rising costs or margin compression within the digital content provider's operations. The decline was even more pronounced at the pretax level, which retreated to 950 million yen compared to the 1.44 billion yen recorded in 2025.
Shareholders saw earnings per share drop sharply to 33.49 yen, down from 87.50 yen in the previous corresponding period. These figures, prepared under Japanese accounting standards, reflect a challenging environment for the company as it struggles to translate top-line gains into actual profitability.
