The company secured the latest batch of coins at an average price of $81,734, according to an October 19 announcement from CEO Matt Cole. This transaction follows a highly active period for the firm, which has added 7,356 BTC to its reserves in little over a week. At current market valuations, the total treasury stash is worth approximately $3 billion.
Strive’s expansion coincides with a broader restructuring of its balance sheet. The company recently finalized the exercise of its traditional warrants and is moving to settle a $630 million preferred stock offering. While these capital-raising efforts provide the liquidity needed for such significant Bitcoin purchases, they also adjust the firm’s equity structure. Management maintains that it will continue to hold an 18-month dividend reserve to cover preferred stock obligations, aiming to avoid the volatility risks associated with debt-backed Bitcoin holdings.
