Revenue for the recent quarter reached $995 million, falling short of the $1.01 billion consensus estimate from FactSet analysts. Chief Executive Chris Hillabrant attributed the performance to strengthened client relationships and margin improvements, specifically highlighting the conclusion of a major contract.
The company now projects full-year earnings between $755 million and $1.04 billion, marking a $25 million increase from the midpoint of its previous guidance. This shift translates to an expected per-share profit range of $1.76 to $2.41. While these figures remain cautious compared to the $830.1 million profit expected by the market, Chief Financial Officer Sunit Patel pointed to higher ground lease buyouts and internal efficiencies as primary drivers for the upward revision. Crown Castle also adjusted its site rental revenue expectations to a range of $3.85 billion to $3.9 billion.
