Chainlink reports $15B in migrations as institutional adoption surges

With $15 billion in token value migrated to its Cross-Chain Interoperability Protocol (CCIP) during 2026, Chainlink is cementing its role as a bridge for traditional finance. Despite this institutional momentum, the network’s native token, LINK, faces persistent selling pressure as it hovers near the $12 support level.

Chainlink reports $15B in migrations as institutional adoption surges

The third-quarter review highlights a significant expansion in institutional integration, with major players like Swift and the Depository Trust & Clearing Corporation (DTCC) deepening their reliance on Chainlink’s infrastructure. The launch of CCIP 2.0 has been central to this shift, introducing new settlement, compliance, and security controls specifically tailored for large-scale financial entities. Beyond these partnerships, the network has facilitated over $36 trillion in cumulative transaction value, underscoring its growing utility in decentralized finance and enterprise-grade applications.

Government and regulatory bodies are also increasingly engaging with the protocol. Wyoming’s Stable Token Commission, for instance, selected Chainlink for its FRNT stablecoin infrastructure, while Hong Kong’s tokenized securities framework and the Bank of England have begun exploring the network’s automated compliance and settlement tools. These developments reflect a broader trend of moving traditional financial assets onto blockchain rails, yet market sentiment remains cautious. Trading at approximately $12.24 as of October 22, the token is struggling to regain its earlier October highs, with technical indicators suggesting that bearish pressure may persist in the near term.
