The company is currently in the concluding stages of certification for its Midnight aircraft. Plans are set to initiate demonstration flights across Texas next year, laying the groundwork for a broader commercial rollout once federal authorities grant the necessary operational approvals. The expansion strategy leverages the state’s high traffic volume as a primary use case for the urban air mobility model.
This push into the Texas market follows a significant strategic consolidation involving Boeing, which acquired a nearly 20% stake in Archer this past August. Following a successful flight tour across seven cities in Northern California, Archer is now positioning these new regional networks to scale its operations into a robust commercial service.
